DEBUG_THREADID=1

Look for this line in your notes.ini, starting with 8.5.3 IBM made it a default. So that is why after the upgrade it was placed into your ini and you're seeing the debug ID on every line.

Doesn't really hurt anything. It can be useful in certain troubleshooting scenarios, which is why IBM probably decided to turn it on by default.

You can turn it off by changing the 1 to a 0, if you remove it I would suspect any future upgrades would put it back. Setting it to zero leaves the entry there so any future upgrades wont change it.
